Hyderabad Blues..... and Greens!

So I got deported to the Nizam city for a few weeks - courtesy, the highly unpredictable
business decisions of my esteemed employer...

Yesterday early in the morning, I managed to land at the huge railway junction called
Secunderabd (Hyderabad's lesser known twin-city) and the day begain in a quite predictable fashion (read: the usual jhakjhak with with the auto-wala on overcharging and the likes, with the choiciest of Hindi slang that one could imagine...)

Can't help but talk this way with these looters - or else they can run amok on the
unsuspecting first time visitor to any city.

So after a great start to a fine morning in Andhra land, I manage to reach my abode, perform
a hastened sequence of the morning neccessities and was out for office in 30 mins flat! Did
manage to reach the place on time, only to learn that the session was postponed by half an
hour! What great incidents to start off an already hurried morning....

The next few hours were largely uneventful - as I was attending a training in a conference
room. At regular intervals during the lecture I managed to doze off for moments, only to
regain my self - reminding myself: "Hey, I've come all this way to Hyderabad to learn
something, and NOT TO SLEEP OFF!!"

Well that worked... and so the day ended.. Also caught up with a lot of friends, colleagues,
college-mates - Haresh, Aparna et al. Over snacks and tea caught up on a lot of things... laughing and remembering the other fellas of the group. (yet to meet all of the guys here in town)

In the next 1-2 weeks, looking forward to seeing Ramoji Film City which we unfortunately
skipped during our last stop-over in the city. Also planning to watch Salaam Namaste 'priety' soon ;-)
But as they say... the best laid plans....
